Edit images with Claude Code
Connect Claude Code to the babbleBrush Mac app and edit images just by talking to it. Whatever Claude changes shows up on your canvas while you watch.
While babbleBrush is open it runs a small MCP server on your Mac. You point Claude Code at it once, and from then on Claude can work the same canvas you're looking at. Ask it to generate a logo, drop the background, or rough out a few directions, and it does the work right there in the app.
Connect Claude Code to the app
This is the setup you see in the video, and it takes about a minute. Keep babbleBrush open so its MCP server is running, then hook up Claude Code.
- 1. In babbleBrush, open Settings and find Connect an agent (MCP). Check that the status says Running.
- 2. Open the Setup menu and choose Copy Claude command. Paste it into your terminal. Your endpoint and token are already filled in, so it looks like this:
claude mcp add --transport http babblebrush \ http://localhost:59737/mcp \ --header "Authorization: Bearer <your-token>" - 3. Open Claude Code and start editing. Try something like "create a canvas and generate a mountain landscape" or "remove the background from this one." Claude checks what canvas you have open first, then makes the change in the app.
Using Cursor, VS Code, or your own agent instead? Grab Copy config JSON from the same menu, or point it at the discovery file at ~/.babblebrush/mcp.json.
