Free Screenshot Beautifier

Make any screenshot look polished.

Add a beautiful background, rounded corners, a soft shadow, and text, then export a crisp image without uploading anything.

Paste a screenshot. Make it worth sharing.

How to make a screenshot look professional

  1. Paste your screenshot

Use Command-V or Control-V, drop a file, or choose one from your computer. The image stays in this browser tab.

  2. Style it

Start from a ready-made background, then adjust padding, corners, shadow, aspect ratio, and optional text until it fits the place you will share it.

  3. Export

Download PNG, JPEG, or WebP at 1x, 2x, or 3x, or copy a PNG when your browser allows it. No account, no watermark.

Everything you need for share-ready screenshots

Screenshot Styler is a small screenshot editor for one image at a time. It is not a full design suite, and that is the point: paste, polish, export.

Backgrounds that frame the shot

Choose solid colours, soft gradients, babbleBrush orange, or a transparent canvas when you need the export to drop onto another layout.

Rounded corners, padding, and shadow

Give a raw capture the breathing room and depth of a product mockup without opening a heavyweight design tool.

Text when the image needs a caption

Add one headline above, below, or over the screenshot. Keep it plain so it stays readable in posts and docs.

Ratios for social and docs

Auto, square, 16:9, LinkedIn, X, Open Graph, and more. The screenshot never stretches; it fits inside the frame.

Private by design

Your pixels never leave the browser. There is no upload step, no server render, and no image stored in a cloud project.

Common uses

Social posts and product updates

Ship a cleaner shot for X, LinkedIn, Product Hunt, or a changelog without redrawing the whole frame in Figma.

Documentation and READMEs

Turn a bare window capture into a readable figure for a blog post, help article, or GitHub README.

Slides and customer notes

Drop a framed screenshot into a deck or support message when a plain capture looks unfinished.

Portfolio and case studies

Present product UI with consistent padding and light so a sequence of screens reads as one story.

FAQ

Is Screenshot Styler free, and does it add a watermark?

Yes, it is free. There is no signup and no watermark on exports. You can download PNG, JPEG, or WebP as many times as you need.

Are screenshots uploaded or stored?

No. The file is read and rendered in your browser. babbleBrush does not receive your screenshot, overlay text, or filename, and the tool does not save the composition to cloud storage.

Can I paste a screenshot from the clipboard?

Yes. Focus the page and paste with Command-V or Control-V. You can also drop a file or choose one with the file picker. Supported formats include PNG, JPEG, WebP, and other types your browser can decode.

Which backgrounds and image formats are supported?

You get gradient and solid presets, custom colours, custom two-stop gradients, and a transparent background. Export as PNG, JPEG, or WebP. Transparent canvases should use PNG or WebP; JPEG flattens transparency to white.

What export size should I use for social media or documentation?

Pick a canvas ratio that matches the destination, then export at 2x for most posts and docs. Use 3x when the platform wants a larger asset, or 1x for a lighter file. LinkedIn, X, and Open Graph ratios are included as presets.

How is this different from the App Store Screenshot Maker?

Screenshot Styler polishes one general-purpose screenshot for posts, docs, and slides. The App Store & Google Play Screenshot Maker builds multi-screen store listings with device frames, projects, and translation. Use each tool for the job it was built to do.
